Birthday giveaway for Kristin!
We’re joining our friends at True Blood Fan Source and other great fansites to celebrate Kristin’s birthday by sponsoring a charity fundraiser and giveaway to benefit one of her favorite causes, the Amanda Foundation. Anyway, click here to bid on (or stare at and drool over and covet) this cardboard cut-out of Eric that was used at Comic-Con last year. It’s signed by 60 – count ‘em, 60! – cast and crew members. The auction is to benefit the Choroideremia Research Foundation, which is close to the hearts of Deborah Ann Woll and her boyfriend, EJ Scott, who has the disease.

Scripts auctioned for Greenpeace
Up for auction to benefit Greenpeace are two True Blood scripts! The first is the script for the season 3 finale, “Evil is Going On,” signed by Alex. It was his personal copy for use on the show, and in addition to his autograph, it includes his personal notes. The second is Kristin Bauer van Straten’s personal script for 3×07, “Hit the Floor.” It is signed by Kristin, Alex, Joe, Sam, Deborah, Rutina, and seven other cast members. It also comes with an autographed photo of Pam.
These are some amazing, literally one of a kind items for a great cause! Now if only I had some money. *sigh*

Hold on to your fangs, because I’ve got a plug-a-palooza for you.

Next, a fanfiction contest called First Blood, where you’re invited to submit your own story about Eric’s first kill. It can be his first kill as a human or a vampire. Be creative! The deadline is September 27.
