This story takes place in the early 1900s. After leaving her home Helena makes her way to a remote villiage as far away from London as she muster; she finds herself some where in Sweden living and working in a bakery, but by chance her luck turns around as she meets a very dashing man named Eric Northman. It is only when she discovers his true nature that she has to decide if this is the path her life is meant to take.

Feeling depressed that she is going to be alone on Valentine's Day, Sookie allows Amelia and Tara to talk her into going to Monroe for ladies night at Hooligan's with them on Friday, February 13th. After being cheered up at the strip club, a turn of events thrusts Sookie into danger from a legendary supe that will up her involvement in supernatural affairs. Sookie and Eric must find a way to keep ahead of the game and prevent a prophesied war that would take place on two planes of existence. In the process, Eric just might get a chance to settle an old score.

At the end of season 4, Sookie makes a different choice.
