He had to take out a loan?
Author's Response: Yes. He had the house built in a relatively short amount of time and he went all out, so it would have cost quite a bit. He tried to downplay it a bit to Sookie so she wouldn't know how much he spent since he knows she doesn't like extravagance. My thought was he would have paid for part of the house with the money he had in the bank and loaned the excess. I think Eric would have a lot of his money tied up in investments, rather than sitting in a bank. With the sale of his current house and the money he makes from his businesses, the loan would be paid off quite quickly. I hope that explains my thinking.

This is truely wonderful! I spent all day reading it my girlfriend had to pull me away often. she even took my latop! Author's Response: I'm so flattered you enjoyed it so much! I only write fanfiction on occasion between my other writing, so I'm not sure when I'll write another at this stage. I do have a Valentine's Day one shot on here under the same name. Author's Response: When I wrote this, I had a feeling Charlaine Harris intended to break the blood bond either in book 11 or 12. I think Sookie needed to do it to be 100% sure of her feelings, otherwise she would always have doubts. I'm glad you like what I've done :) Thanks for the review.
