“Enough! Norseman, it is time we heard your side of the story,” the Old Gal boomed.
Mr. C stood in front of a table to address the council, and Eric grabbed my hand before leading me to stand next to him, while Mr. C seemed to get his thoughts together.
“Over the last few nights many things in our worlds have come together to begin a change. Four nights ago, many in the supernatural world were still searching for the one called the Listener. She’d saved so many lives before, during, and after the bombing in Rhodes when the Pyramid of Gizeh was taken down by the FotS. Some only wanted to thank and honor.”
