While i wish the series ended with book 8.. maybe 9 ( 7 is my absolute fav) i am oddly ok with the last book. i wish sookie and eric lasted, but hey we always have fanfic :)

I just love this story. I'm hoping you'll get around to finishing it soon, but while rereading the series in chapter 22 of "Let Love In" Eric is flashing back over his life with and without Sookie and yada yada yada, some kind of way I got to this question, How far down his family line before it is disgusting to date one of his decendants with Sookie? (lol)That is if she decided to never become vampire and died after a 100 or so years, but before that I was wondering are you going to give the twins gifts of their own?

Read about Eirik's adventures with his sister's family as he is growing up, how he dealt with grief and the loss of the first woman he ever loved, and how he lived with an arranged marriage to a sorceress wife. Through all of this, Eirik dealt with the treachery of his older siblings, having to battle a number of them, and how he matured to become a Viking leader in his own right both in his homeland and in Northumbria.

Presently, Sookie is managing the bar while Sam is in Texas taking care of his mother after she was injured during the 'reveal.' It isn't quite as easy as she thought it was going to be, and she finds herself thinking about Eric and her feelings about him. Eric reenters her life, and she finally admits to herself that she cares about him. However, all is not well in Louisiana with the takeover by Nevada. To acerbate the situation, an ancient curse from the Viking age, sends Sookie back to 10th century Northumbia to Jorvik, the Viking city of York where she meets Eric before he was turned.

This is Eric's back story told from the past and the present.

I love that you actually made Sookie a little smarter than she has been, in knowing that Eric is best for her, but I especially love that so far this Eric seems to be the really Eric and not that mushy, sappy on that is being written about. Hope the rest of the story is this good.
